To reset a password for an existing Agency user:
1. Login to eGrants as a Program Office Agency User Administrator.
2. If you have access to more than one Program Office, the Select Program Office window appears. Click SELECT beside the appropriate Program Office.
3. From the main menu bar, click Administration > User Management. If you have the Program Office User Management role, the User Bureau Summary screen appears. If you have only the Program Office Agency User Management role, the User Agency Summary screen appears (see the next step).
NOTE: If you also have the Program Office User Administrator role, Bureau Users and Agency Users are displayed on separate tabs of information. The Bureau Users page appears first. Click either option on the navigation pane on the left side of the screen to view and manage different types of users, when needed.
4. If needed, click the Agency Users button in the navigation pane to view Agency users. The User Agency Summary screen appears.
5. Click the Select Agency button above the grid. The Select an Agency window opens (in List View).
All Agencies with access to your Program Office are listed in the window.
6. To view additional information about the Agency users, click the Grid View tab at the top of the window. The Grid View appears.
The AUN Number, Number of Users and number of Signoff Role users are displayed for reference.
Note that standard export features are available at the bottom of the window. Click any icon to export the listed information to file.
7. To select an Agency from the List View, click the Agency to highlight it and click the Select button at the bottom of the window. From the Grid View, simply click the Select button beside the Agency. The User Agency Summary screen displays all current users.
8. Locate the user to edit:
Click the column
heading in the selection list to sort a column in alphabetical order.
Type all or
part of the information (case-sensitive) you wish to locate in one or
more fields below the column heading and click the filter icon
.
9. Click
the Select icon
in
the row of the user to edit. The Agency User Detail
screen appears.
10. Click the Password panel bar to expand the panel.
11. Click the Reset Password button. The system resets the password and sends an email to the user with instructions for using the temporary password.
12. Click Back to User Summary to perform other user management tasks.
