To reset a password for an existing Program Office user:
1. Login to eGrants as a Program Office User Administrator.
2. If you have access to more than one Program Office, the Select Program Office window appears. Click SELECT beside the appropriate Program Office. The User Bureau Summary screen appears.
NOTE: If you also have the Program Office Agency User Administrator role, Bureau Users and Agency Users are displayed on separate tabs of information. The Bureau Users page appears first. Click either option on the navigation pane on the left side of the screen to view and manage different types of users, when needed.
3. Locate the user to edit:
Click the column
heading in the selection list to sort a column in alphabetical order.
Type all or
part of the information (case-sensitive) you wish to locate in one or
more fields below the column heading and click the filter icon
.
4. Click
the Select icon
in
the row of the user to edit. The Bureau User Detail
screen appears.
5. Click the Password panel bar to expand the panel.
6. Click the Reset Password button. The system resets the password and sends an email to the user with instructions for using the temporary password.
7. Click Back to User Summary to perform other user management tasks.
